Calibration

EMI Gage calibrates PDI gages to adhere to quality schedules. Unlike OEM technicians, EMI metrologists can calibrate measurement instruments from a range of manufacturers, in a single visit. That saves our customers time, cost, and a lot of scheduling headaches. 

Maintenance and Repair

EMI’s metrologists go beyond calibration during service calls. We take care of preventive maintenance tasks and verify that all components are clean and functioning. If problems arise, we can make many small repairs on site. And if a system requires more significant work, we can handle virtually any repairs, from probe replacement up to complete overhauls, at our Illinois facility. We can even handle the transportation.

Probes and Tips

EMI offers a wide range of standard and custom roundness probes, as well as standard and custom styli for texture measurement. We know that a damaged probe can take down a gage (and maybe an entire production line!), so we pride ourselves on fast turnaround and expedited shipping to keep production up and running.

Computers

Many PDI systems require legacy computers and operating systems. EMI Gage can replace legacy computers running Windows 10, NT, XP, and even DOS, keeping an othewise functional instrument up and running reliably.
