EMI Gage provides complete surface roughness and roundness stylus repair and replacements. We have two, five and ten micron conical diamond tips in stock (special tips are available upon request). EMI Gage also supplies ruby ball tip, conical and chisel tip replacements for roundness and contour styli. EMI Gage has the full capability for testing of diamond tips, setting diamonds, replacing beams and our precision grinding and machining and assembly operations allow us to rectify problems rapidly. Stylus repair and manufacturing is a large portion of our business and therefore stylus parts are on hand at all times. We provide rapid turnaround of repairs and new styli - we can manufacture custom roundness and surface roughness styli for all special applications and for surface texture and roundness instruments of *all major OEM manufacturers (Mahr™, Hommel ™, Taylor Hobson™, Zeiss TSK™* Panasonic UA3P, and Mitutoyo™) as well as other manufacturers of said instruments.* EMI Gage also provides surface roughness and roundness pickup probe repair. EMI Gage has designed its own custom test stands providing repair capabilities for pickups (commonly referred as probes and transducers) for surface texture and roundness measuring instruments including Taylor Hobson Talysurf 4,5,6 and 10™, Taylor Hobson Form Talysurf Series™ LASER and Inductive pickups, "Talyrond"™* and "Surtronic"™* pickups.
